Using Repellents
The most important step you can take is to use a repellent. There are many different types of tick repellents on the market, so you should be able to find one that works well for you. Some contain DEET, while others use essential oils such as rosemary or lemongrass. Whatever base you choose, make sure you’re using natural tick repellent for the yard as much as possible. This is important, as some chemical-based ones can be harmful
