Ours Fitzroy is an amalgamation of a few very ‘Melbourne’ things; shopping, art and our amazing creative community.

Located on Johnston Street, the new creative concept space spans two distinct levels. Downstairs, the shopfront houses local furniture, homewares, clothing, and art, which are all available for purchase. You’ll find designs from emerging furniture makers Objects By Kit, and Billy Furniture, alongside ceramics from Amiee Byrne; activewear from Nu Form Movement and Melbourne start-ups FIGR and Happy Society.

‘Ours has always been about bringing all of these things into one place and showing them off, unashamedly, because we should all be really proud and hyped about where we come from, the people we know and the amazing things they are making,’ founder Zane Curwen-Walker says.

Meanwhile, upstairs serves as a unique Airbnb, bringing the ‘locally curated collection to life’ in a one-bedroom apartment.

‘The accommodation was always meant

Feelz, a three-song EP originally released by Lil Peep back in 2015, is now available on all major streaming services.

In a statement shared to Instagram on Friday, the EP’s history—which dates back to the very early days of 2015 following Peep’s return from an influential trip to Pasadena—was detailed.

“By mid-March, he had asked for and gotten the only two things he needed to make music on his own, using his laptop in his bedroom: a condenser mic and a pair of beats headphones. It was soon after that when Gus made Feelz,” the statement reads.

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well, and I’m so glad you enjoyed the last post about the beautiful new kitchen designed by lovely, Rachel.

So many of my friends are sick with or recently got over Covid. We didn’t get it from each other. But, anyway, one of my friends, Lisa, was sick last week and she asked me if I wanted to use her ticket to go to the Beacon Hill Garden Club Hidden Gardens Tour?

Between getting ready for my trip and then getting sick, I forgot to book it.  And then, the Beacon Hill hidden garden tour was sold out. So, yes, I jumped at the chance.

Wednesday evening was a lovely outdoor soiree with perfect weather.

EAGLE PASS, Texas (Border Report) — Inside the only migrant shelter in this remote South Texas border town, asylum-seekers are crammed arm to arm on picnic tables, colorful undersized children’s plastic chairs and donated wooden church pews waiting for transportation and other help.

The Mission Border Hope warehouse-style facility is noisy. The concrete floors are bare.

Information is posted on one wall-sized billboard with dos and don’ts in America.

And all anyone wants is to find a way out of this dusty border town and get to U.S. cities beyond.

“We help them to do their travel arrangements so they can go to their final destinations. An average length of stay is five to eight hours. We offer meals, showers … we offer clothing, hygiene kits so they can wait. We have technology so they can communicate with their family members,” Mission Border Hope Executive Director Valeria Wheeler told Border
