Jersey Shore condo to Beach Townhouse Update

Good day strangers!  Here I am to crystal clear out the cobwebs of this dusty corner of the interwebs to carry you an update.  Last tumble we moved out of our beach front condominium and moved down the road into a beach townhouse. (Im nonetheless pretty a lot residing in Brooklyn and I will by no means depart NYC so no worries there!) It’s not pretty a proper “Beach front Dwelling” but having ever so a lot closer to residing my Nancy Meyers / Diane Keaton Anything Has Obtained to Give desires – at least on the weekends and in New Jersey.  Ok perhaps it is a lot more Snooki than Diane Keaton but enable me have my fantansies!

Even though we constantly planned on building some (okay, a ton of) changes, we imagined we could hold out a year or two to tackle people.  It didn’t take very long to know those people ideas were being going out the window and selected factors experienced to transform quickly.  One matter lead to one more, yada, yada, yada…and we were in complete renovation method.

Thanks to covid and supply chain and tons of other little bitty factors that incorporate up, we have been doing the job on the world’s slowest renovation ever.  Thankfully we are at any time so gradually receiving toward the finish line of our first tasks and I’m excited to share those with you.  

Now you are all caught up.  For people of you who observe me on instagram or tiktok you by now know all this so many thanks for reading.  For those of you are continue to blog only viewers, I hope you still try to remember me.

We have finished 2 toilet renovations and are almost accomplished with the kitchen.  But individuals call for a ton more backstory.  So let us shut out present day article with a hyperlapse online video of the Mr. & I in our pajamas making our patio into a smaller outdoor living place (even though our indoor living area is torn to shreds!).

Not likely to lie. Im really happy with how this turned out even with it staying just a random collection of parts I discovered at big box retailers. It genuinely can take this minor patio from useless out of doors area to outside living place.
