How to Deep Clean All Rooms in Your Home

How to Deep-Clean Every Room in Your House | Better Homes & Gardens

There are times when life gets too busy that you don’t even remember to clean your home properly. When the time comes that you decide to deep clean your home, it becomes a problem and you may get confused about where to start from.

At that point, you may decide to start by scheduling for house cleaning service to come to assist you or you can decide to do the cleaning yourself if you have the chance.

How can you tell which cleaning service is perfect for your home? It is simple! Read cleaning service reviews and you will be guided on which cleaning service you should use. Meanwhile, if you still want to do the deep cleaning on your own, below are a few ways you can do that.

  • Start By Tidying Up and Decluttering Your Room

Cleaning the rooms in your home may take the whole day because it is a lot of work. You need to go through each room one after the other and declutter them

Pick up whatever is not in place, throw dirty clothes and linen into the laundry. And if there are any clothes or shoes you think can’t be used anymore, you either trash them or give them out.

  • Make the Beds in Your Rooms

Once you are done decluttering you need to make your bed next before doing any other form of cleaning. Change all bedding, from the bedsheets, quilts, pillowcases, duvet, and throw pillow covers. Take everything to the laundry and put fresh sheets on your bed.

If you feel the beddings are still neat, then you can use them again, but strip the bed and shake off sand or dust from the sheets before putting them back on. However, before putting the sheets back, you also need to dust your mattress

  • Clean Every Decor in the Rooms

Once you are through with cleaning your bed, you need to dust every Decor in all your rooms one after the other and you need to be careful so you don’t miss out on anyone.

Use a damp cloth and ensure everywhere is sparkling so after the whole cleaning process, you can breathe fresh air.

  • Arrange Shelves and Every Surface

If you have bookshelves or any other type of shelf in your room, you need to take your time and arrange it properly.

Let everything on the shelf be well placed and if there’s anything that is no longer useful, you can trash it and declutter the shelf and every other surface in the rooms.

  • Clean and Mop the Floor

Now that you are done with surfaces and the beds, it’s time to focus on the floor. Start by sweeping and taking off something from the floor so you can have enough space to move around. Sweep first before mopping the floor and even under the beds. Once the floor is dried, then you can arrange everything back to its place and relax.

If you can follow these steps above, then you can comfortably clean your rooms properly and then you will stay in a clean and fresh environment.
